How our payment structure works?

The calculation of Tutor-Partner payment is based on the monthly package subscribed by customers (details of the packages are specified in job tickets) and completed tutoring hours. The rates stated are based on an hourly rates.

Terms and Conditions
- Customer subscription plan fees may vary from time to time, and prior notice will be given to the respected Tutor-Partners.
- Payment to Tutor-Partners is based on completed tutoring sessions of the month.
- Expected payment to Tutor-Partners is available on each job ticket advertised on the SifuTutor app.
- Each class session is equivalent to 30 min.
- Each additional time/student is subject to a 15 min extension of class session time.
How do our bonus calculations work?
One-time Bonus
All Tutor-Partners are eligible for this one-time bonus of RM200 after completing their first 40 tutoring hours.
Monthly Bonus
This monthly bonus is applicable to all Tutor-Partners who have completed their respective tutoring hours.

Please note that 1 hour of an online class is equivalent to 0.5 teaching hours.
To help you understand the calculation of Tutor-Partners payment, kindly refer to the below scenarios.
Tutor Sofea is starting her tutoring journey with SifuTutor. She is assigned to 3 students of 3 different levels, Student A – STPM, Student B – IGCSE and Student C – SPM. Each student subscribed to 4 sessions per month, which is 1.5 hours per session. The mode of the sessions is physical.
Tutor Sofea’s payment is according to the ‘First 8 hours’ rate for the first month. She is expected to receive RM24/ hour for the IGCSE student, RM21/hour for the STPM student, and RM18/hour for the SPM student, respectively.
Student A: RM24 x 6 hours (4 sessions x 1.5 hours) = RM144
Student B: RM21 x 6 hours (4 sessions x 1.5 hours) = RM126
Student C: RM18 x 6 hours (4 sessions x 1.5 hours) = RM108
Total payment: RM144 + RM126 + RM108 = RM378
In the second month, her first 2 hours are still according to the ‘First 8 hours rate’ while the remaining hours are paid according to the ‘9 hours & above’ rate.
Student A: (RM24 x 2 hours) + (RM56 x 4 hours) = RM272
Student B: (RM21 x 2 hours) + (RM49 x 4 hours) = RM238
Student C: (RM18 x 2 hours) + (RM42 x 4 hours) = RM204
Total Payment: RM272 + RM238 + RM204 = RM714
From the third month onwards, her payment is based on the ‘9 hours & above’ rate.
Student A: RM56 x 6 hours = RM336
Student B: RM49 x 6 hours = RM294
Student C: RM42 x 6 hours = RM252
Total Payment: RM336 + RM294 + RM252 = RM882
Once she completes her first cumulative 40 tutoring hours, she is eligible to receive a one-time bonus of RM200.
